Alcita was born and lived most of her life in Brazil. Due to her experiences with the power of prayer, she felt a great desire to share her stories with others. First, she wrote about her first sixteen years in, “A Menina, a Escola e a Gaiola (The Girl, the School and the Cage) Editora Ultimato, Viçosa: Brasil, 2003. (Out of print) Many of her readers asked her to write a continuation. Thus, Ask. Seek. Knock. A Life Shaped by Conversations with God came into existence.
She also wrote, Milcah, BookLocker.com, Inc. Florida, 2010, a biblical fiction about the five daughters of Zelophehad. Alcita identifies with these five orphans’ struggles for their rights. Next, she translated Milcah into Portuguese, also available from BookLocker.com under the title of Milca.
